Okay My Beauties, I have to be honest with you, using lip balm as eyeshadow is not exactly a new beauty hack exactly, although it's new to me.
I don't remember what inspired me to try this hack out, yet I am very glad I gave it a try. It is super easy and it takes me less than 5 minutes.
For the last 2 weeks, I have been using my Sugar Berry lip balm in combination with the reddest shade in my revolution iconic fever palette, and I received many compliments.
So, I decided to share this with you.
Step 1: Clean your eyelids
I start by cleaning my eyelids. You can do this by using a cotton ball and just some micellar water or just use a makeup wipe. I am using Embryolisse micellar water.
Step 2: Apply the lip balm
Now that my eyelids are clean, I apply just bit of my lip balm on the centre of my eyelids. After applying the lip balm, I dab it all over my crease using a circular motion and my middle finger.
Step 3: Apply just a little eyeshadow using your fingers
Now that my lids are all creamy, I use my ring finger to apply some eyeshadow on to my crease. Then I use the same dabbing technique to blend it in with the balm all over my lids.
And VOILA...
You can stop after step 3, but if you more glamour you can use mascara to make your lashes look longer. If that is not enough glamour for you, you can also add a thin line of black eyeliner.
I used a reasonable tinted lip balm and a dark eyeshadow for this look, keep in mind that if you have a lighter complexion, these colour will look harsher on your face and vice versa.
In my shop post, you will be able to find a shade that works best for your complexion. For all my dutch beauties, I know Fresh lip balms are not available here in the Netherlands but you can also find an alternative in my shop post.
